Hello, and welcome to my December Demonstrator Training Blog Hop, if you’ve reached me from another blog, I’m Dianne (The Purple Rose Stamper) from the UK. I hope you enjoy my blog and then please do hop along to the next one on this list.
Thankfully I’ve finished all my Christmas cards and decorations for this year and so thought I would share a birthday card that I’ve made for a special friend who has her birthday a week before Christmas day. I had an idea to use the DSP sampler selection in a fan design. Having cut and secured all the paper pieces together I thought it needed a little bit of jazzing up so added glue along the paper joins and then sprinkled glitter creating the sparkling lines (hope you can see them in the pictures). Unable to make the fan the size that I really wanted and after a few attempts with changing the design I decided to cut a few centimetres off the standard card length then add the sentiment at the top which means the card still fits in a standard envelope. I love the result and hope my friend does also.
Products used:-
Card: Lovely Lipstick, Bermuda Bay
DPS: DSP 6” x 6“ sampler
Stamp sets: Label Me Pretty
Punch: Pretty Label
Misc: Versa Mark, Silver embossing powder
Stampin Glitter
I hope you’ve enjoyed this special birthday card. Please do hop along to the next Demonstrator on the list to see all the wonderful creations.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and I wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2020.
