Welcome to this months International Blog Highlights and the theme is 'Thank You'.
I just love this stamp set and use it often, it is probably one of my favourites. The flowers in Forever Blossoms are just beautiful and the accompanying Cherry Blossoms dies means no fussy cutting.
I love this striking colour combo, Melon Mambo and Highland Heather cardstock for the base card and top layer with a mid layer of Whisper White. Using corresponding inks for the flowers while the 'thank you' sentiment, which comes from Borders Abound, was inked in Gorgeous Grape.
Using one of the smaller rectangles from Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies I cut the die toward the bottom of the Highland Heather layer, placed the flowers into position using dimensional then positioned the rectangle over the stems, hoping the finished card looks like the flowers are in an oblong planter.
