Hello and welcome to my blog. Todays card features Celebrate Sunflowers and is a colour challenge for my team.
The colours chosen were orange, purple and white, not a combination that I would pick but the colours were randomly selected. I haven't used the sunflower stamps nearly enough so decided to start with this set.
Using Pumpkin Pie for the base card I then stamped the sunflower in the same colour onto basic white card. With a mid layer of Gorgeous Grape I then die cut the sunflower outline in the same colour. The sentiment comes from Borders Abound stamp set which seems to be my 'go to' set for the beautiful font. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto Gorgeous Grape card.
Inside I stamped a sunflower in Gorgeous Grape in the bottom right hand corner with just half of the image showing. From what appeared to be a tricky colour challenge I'm really pleased with the outcome.
