Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - October 2019

Hello, and welcome to the first Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for 2019-2020.  Welcome if you’ve reached me from another blog.  I’m Dianne (The Purple Rose Stamper) from the UK.  I hope you enjoy my blog and then please do hop along to the next one on this list.

Having received my first order from the latest Autumn/Winter catalogue a week ago I decided the majority of product used in this month’s card would be from that catalogue.

I wanted to create a simple and easy card using the Playful Penguins stamp set so that is where my creation started.  The base card is whisper white and then a layer of real red card.  After die cutting the large image from Stitched Lace dies on whisper white card I covered with silver embossing powder and heated.  On a separate piece of whisper white card I stamped one of the penguin images in Smoky Slate ink then stamped the ‘Christmas’ text from Snowman Season stamp set in real red ink.  After cutting out the ‘Christmas’ text using the Pretty Label punch and then snipped off the top and bottom arcs leaving the oblong shape.  The ‘Merry’ is die cut in Real Red card from the Merry Christmas thinlits.  Finally, I assembled the card and finished it with a scarf for the penguin from the Let It Snow Embellishment kit.

Products used:-
Paper:                Whisper White, Real red
Inks:                  Real red, Smoky slate
Stamp sets:        Playful Penguins, Snowman Season
Dies:                  Stitched Lace dies, Merry Christmas Thinlits
Punch:                Pretty Label
Misc:                  Let It Snow Embellishment Kit, Silver embossing powder

I hope you’ve enjoyed my simple Christmas card and thank you for dropping by today.  Please do hop along to the next Demonstrator on the list to see all the wonderful creations.
