Hello, and welcome to my July Demonstrator Training Blog Hop, if you’ve reached me from another blog, I’m Dianne (The Purple Rose Stamper) from the UK. I hope you enjoy my blog and then please do hop along to the next one on this list.
This week I had a challenge with a friend to make 2 cards using the Forever Fern Bundle and she selected the colours I had to use. One card had to feature purple and red and the other green and yellow.
With the red/purple card I used Poppy Parade and Highland Heather Blenders and randomly coloured over the Drybrush stamp onto an oblong piece of Whisper White card then cut into 2 triangles, adding the sentiment using Gorgeous Grape ink bottom left. Stamping the largest image from Forever Fern twice in Gorgeous Grape ink onto white card and then die cut them out. Placing and securing them on the edge of the card before gluing the triangle on top. To finish this card I added a white inlay having stamped the leaf image in the bottom left hand corner.
The green/yellow card was made in exactly the same way using Old Olive and Melody Mango ink pads instead of blenders to ink up the Drybrush stamp. For the large foiliage image I inked with Granny Apple Green ink as it was a softer tone and Old Olive ink for the sentiment and the image on the inlay.
I had great fun creating these cards and Forever Fern Bundle is becoming a firm favourite.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards, and please do hop along to the next Demonstrator on the list to see all the wonderful creations.
Lovely set Dianne! Thanks for taking part in our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop this month!
