Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - October 2020

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today I'm sharing 4 designs of my customer cards for the month of September.   I do hope those who received them liked them.

I selected the Flowers For Every Season DSP and the 2020-2022 in-colour inks and cardstock.  In the first picture the cards look like a regular left side opening card but hopefully you'll see in the later pictures they are a little different.

I started by cutting a piece of A4 whisper white cardstock in half and then scoring at 10.5cm along the long side.  With the front of the card I cut the top triangle away by cutting from the bottom right corner to the middle score line, then cut 2 pieces of dsp into triangles and glued into place, the first on the front flap (bottom left) and the second on the inside of the card (top right), matching up the pattern.  With a corresponding coloured piece of cardstock to the DSP using Layering Ovals Dies I diecut a scallop and then inked the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala  stamp set onto whisper white and diecut an oval.  I glued the sentiment onto the scallop and then fixed in place in the middle of the card, adding enamel dots to finish the card.

Below you can see how the card looks when it is standing up, there is still plenty of space to add your own message.

For these Thank You cards I decided to use the non flowery patterns from DSP collection focusing on the bold colours hoping they were eye catching.   I really like the striped background cards best and I think the dsp makes it very striking, that said I do really like all of the designs and once I got going they were really easy and quick to make.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards this month and please do hop along to the next Demonstrator on the list to see all the wonderful creations.

Below is a list of the products used.
