Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - January 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Our monthly Blog hop showcases the designs for our customer 'thank you' cards.  My customer thank you cards for December was created after I had a challenge with a team member to make a card using only 3 colours.  The colours she selected were grey, brown and blue..... yeah! I thought what a combination, but I'm really pleased with the end result.

The base of the card is Smokey Slate with a layer of Night of Navy topped off with a layer of Peony Garden DSP.  Using Night of Navy ink I stamped the large Peony image and die cut.  Using an off cut of Night of Navy cardstock and using Versamark and white emboss powder I used the 'Thank You' from Borders Abound.  Both the peony image and the thank you were secured using dimensionals.  I finished the front of the card with a piece of navy ribbon, which comes from the Boho Indigo product medley.

Having finished the front of the card I realised that I hadn't used brown anywhere so finished the card by stamping the peony image in Sahara Sand ink on the inside.

I was really pleased with the end result, and hope you like my creation this month.  Hopefully those who received one of my cards also enjoyed receiving it.

I hope you've enjoyed my card this month and please do hop along to the next Demonstrator on the list to see all the wonderful creations in this months blog hop.

  4. You should be pleased with the result of your design. I love it, and I especially love that you used product from the annual catalog - I think sometimes we forget about it as new product is launched.
